What’s For Dinner?
Like most moms, one of the most common questions I hear is “What’s for dinner?” That age-old question I hear again and again. We all have go-to recipes that are quick and easy. I have one for spaghetti that is not only quick and easy but it is inexpensive as well. So, I am sharing the recipe for you here so that you might also enjoy the ease that I enjoy in preparing it and your family will enjoy eating it. It is delicious!
2 8 oz. packages of Farmer John Classic Pork Links
1 24 oz. jar of Prego Traditional spaghetti sauce
1/2 lb. box of Barilla thin spaghetti noodles
finely shredded mozzarella cheese
On high heat, boil water in a large pot for the spaghetti noodles. Once the water is boiling, add the noodles and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes or until soft.
Meanwhile, place the pork sausage links in a medium-sized skillet on medium heat. Mash the sausage, as it heats, with a masher typically used for potatoes — available on Amazon (see photo below) until the sausage is in very small pieces (you may also use a fork). Once the sausage is in very small pieces, brown the sausage completely. Then remove from the pan from the heat and drain the oil completely. Add the spaghetti sauce, stir and keep warm.
Then serve the noodles topped with the sausage and sauce mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Enjoy this meal along with French bread.
This recipe serves about 4-6 people.
This is one of my favorite recipes because it is easy to make and one of my family’s favorites because it is delicious.
