Onion Rings Made Easy
My family loves onion rings! But, we don’t always want to go out and buy them at a restaurant or a fast food place. So, I tried a recipe that turned out to be really easy and delicious! So, I wanted to share it with my readers.
I use a “Presto GranPappy” deep fryer for cooking frozen corn dogs, frozen chicken wings. And I used it to make the onion rings as well.
The procedure is pretty simple. I sliced a white onion, dipped the individual rings in the batter and then fried them until they were golden brown.
Here is the recipe for the easy-to-make batter:
1 Cup flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 beaten eggs
½ cup milk
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the beaten eggs and milk and stir until the batter is smooth.
That’s it! How easy is that? You can serve the onion rings with all kinds of dinners such as chicken wings, hot dogs, or just as a delicious snack.
